My biography
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, I’ve been passionate about art and painting since I was a young child. In my home country I took various art courses, but it was after I moved to Oslo twenty years ago and entered the art school that I truly dedicated myself to art in a deeper way. I studied there for five years, which allowed me to deepen my skills and artistic voice. I’ve also studied many forms of dance since I was very young and trained as a Biodanza teacher. Movement and dance have always been central to me. When I paint, I often dance as part of the creative process, channeling that energy and movement directly into my work. I draw inspiration from music, movement, energy, nature, mysticism, and human relationships. My paintings usually begin with an idea that evolves through planning, choice of materials, colors, and mediums. While I do plan, it’s not always that structured — sometimes it’s a mix of planning and spontaneous expression. I like to let myself be carried by whatever is happening in the moment, listening to what the painting is telling me. If I need to change something, I change it; I don’t stay fixed on the original idea. It’s more of a living process. That’s why my work lives between abstract and figurative — sometimes more abstract, sometimes more figurative. Each work carries its own story, and to capture that story fully I write a poem to accompany every painting. My primary medium is acrylic on canvas, though I also work with charcoal, watercolor, oil, Chinese ink, pencil, and various other tools. Using brushes and spatulas, I build my paintings through many thin layers, each requiring its own drying time. This slow, deliberate process allows me to create depth, movement, energy, and an organic feel in my work. I have held several exhibitions in different venues across Oslo, and I continue to explore new ways of expressing my inner world through art.

En este cuadro se puede observar los profundos colores y líneas donde se aprecia la cara del torero cuando esta a punto de entrar a finalizar su faena. Se describe un matiz profundo del ultimo concepto de teatro dramático de la historia.
